A Revitalization of Transitional space in Heritage Core

In the contemporary urban landscape, many World Heritage Cities are facing challenges such as overcrowding, degradation of cultural assets, and loss of authenticity due to mass tourism and rapid urbanization. However, through strategic urban transformations, these cities have the potential to revitalize their heritage cores and reclaim their status as vibrant cultural hubs. This paper explores a forward-looking strategy for Jaipur's urban transformation, leveraging sustainability and technology to address future demands while fostering inclusive social infrastructure and maximizing the utilization of its heritage assets Central to this strategy is the integration of sustainability principles and advanced technologies to ensure that Jaipur's heritage remains vibrant, accessible, and relevant in the face of evolving urban challenges. By leveraging sustainable practices such as green infrastructure, energy-efficient design, and water conservation, the city can mitigate environmental impacts while preserving its cultural heritage for future generations. Additionally, the strategic deployment of smart technologies, including digital heritage platforms, augmented reality experiences, and mobile applications, can enhance the ease of visitor experiences while fostering deeper connections with the local community. Furthermore, this paper emphasizes the importance of strengthening social infrastructure to facilitate meaningful interactions and collaborations between tourists and locals. By promoting community-led initiatives, cultural exchanges, and participatory planning processes, Jaipur can cultivate a more inclusive and resilient urban fabric that celebrates its diverse heritage and fosters a sense of belonging among residents and visitors alike. Through this integrated approach, Jaipur can position itself as a global leader in heritage conservation and sustainable urban development, offering a model for other cities to follow in preserving their cultural identity while embracing the opportunities of the future
