Bombay Hotel Area, Behrampura is a site of contested land tenure. The delay in the implementation of Town Planning Scheme(TPS) could be  attributed to the fact that majority of the land parcels are under contested ownership due to illegal sub plotting of land to accommodate the ones displaced by the riots of 2002. 
 This studio exercise focused on a developing a legal framework alongside  a participatory TPS to ensure secure land tenure to all. Both of the proposals were to work hand in hand to solve this issue and thereby ensuring a just and fair compensation to everyone involved.
