The bridge project across Tapi river at Surat, Gujarat is one of the prominent bridge project connecting Pal and Umra village. It is a two way pre-stressed bridge with total length of 776.5 mt.divided into 24 spans with an estimated cost 115 cr. The objective of our study to observe the execution of the project closely and monitor the various systems followed by the management. The approaches taken for this study are: review of the construction site, available background information, understanding the schedule of the project, analysis of material management; quality management; safety management; equipment management and risk management.
