The studio was aimed at understanding the various aspects of Execution, Monitoring and Control of a construction project with the aid of observing an under-construction Commercial Tower project. Focusing on the execution phase of the project lifecycle, the portfolio briefly covers a few topics, namely, Site Layout Planning, Quality, Material, Safety Management, and Green Building System adopted in the project. Lean Principles such as 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Just-In-Time, VSM, FDS, were incorporated to streamline process flow and minimize wastage. Other exercises undertaken include Planning & Scheduling, Cost Management, Contract Administration, Progress Tracking & Risk Management using Primavera-P6.
