For our academic "Studio II - Construction Project Execution, Monitoring, and Control (CPEMC)", we have focused on the study of a Multi-Speciality Hospital Project consisting of (3B+G+13). The vision of the hospital is to provide tertiary and quaternary care services. The entity proposes to set up a 300-bed hospital consisting of 250 census beds & 50 non-census beds, in GIFT city, Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The studio project is aimed to cover the fundamentals of the execution process, suggesting areas of improvement, studying the quality related aspects on-site, management of materials & resources, application of lean tools and tracking the project so that any delay related to time and cost can be identified and can be mitigated. In this studio, we carried out deliverables like Pre-construction activities, 3D Site layout visualization using Revit, Planning & Scheduling (Pour planning), Earned Value Analysis using Primavera software as well as Risk management through Primavera Risk Analysis software, Material management, Quality management, Application of lean tools & concepts like Value Stream Mapping (VSM) & Foreman Delay Survey (FDS) and also studied the details of the contract in Contract administration deliverable.
