Multi-Storey Residential Project

Studio-II focused on exploring the execution and monitoring phase of construction projects.A residential project was selected situated on SG-Highway in Ahmedabad to apply our academic understanding. The project involved analyzing pre-construction activities, determining the optimal site layout, and examining contract administration. A 3D Revit model was made to visualize site progress and tracked weekly photographic updates. Risk planning and monitoring were conducted using Primavera Risk Analyzer Software. Additionally quality management, material handling, and inventory management during the execution phase were analyzed, considering various parameters. To optimize construction activities, Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Foreman Delay Survey on site were implemented.
