The studio project is about an upcoming Garment Factory at Ranoda, Ahmedabad of a renowned clothing manufacturing company and retail brand. The studio exercise was divided into inception phase and planning & development phase. In the inception phase, the exercises were Demand & Location feasibility, Technical feasibility, Legal compliance, Cost estimation & Scheduling and Financial feasibility. In the planning & development phase, the topics were Organization & Project breakdown structure, Procurement strategy, Environmental impact assessment, Stakeholder & Risk management and project controls. Target value design and Choosing by Advantage were also incorporated to find the best design solutions.
