This project is about a deployable staircase designed for airplanes. Tenfold scissor mechanism is been used here in this structure. It can achieve a height of 4500mm and gets compacted upto 1950mm. The pitch of the staircase at deployed state is 45 degrees. Hydraulic cylinder is used to control the deployment of the structure. Wheels are given at the base to carry the structure.
