SHARNAM - A DEPLOYABLE SHELTER

Deployable structures can expand and contract due to their geometrical arrangement and mechanical joinery in such a way that they can adapt to different usages.  The idea was to design a deployable shelter keeping in mind the current situation. So the proposed design "SHARNAM". It is a deployable shelter made using yoshimura origami pattern. This structure is proposed for an area of  50 m² & can be reduced 12 m². This structure can be a design solution for social issue as well as disaster management challenges which is the need of the hour right now. Click here for Detailed Portfolio
