Latent load comprises 20% of building energy consumption. Currently, the load calculation is done on an assumption basis, where a constant a value for infiltration is considered from envelope. Pressure gradient is neglected from the load calculations even though the change in pressure difference results in a modification in the air flow rate provided by the HVAC design system, hence the change in load modification. Gauging moisture performance on four parameters in space through building physics exanimation and derivation of formula that includes moisture transfer, leakage rate, pressure gradient, and outdoor conditions. The hypothesis is cross-verified through experimentation that is carried out in LECTB-Lab at CEPT University
