Weave Through Wood

This studio involved learning of different kinds of kerfing patterns through CNC and hand cutting. How to use that for bending the wood was an interesting part to learn in this studio. We started working on different kinds of wooden strips to understand its property. We finalized a particular type of wood and kerf pattern to construct our structure. We started constructing the entire structure in Rhino software, for the stability part we used STAAD to analyze our structure. This studio help me to understand the properties of wood and how to use it as a main member.
