The studio Geotechnical Parameters: Influencing Design of Foundation Systems aims at understanding the soil and its properties and using these properties and understanding to develop a safe and economical foundation for a structure. The studio starts with collection of soil samples and further performing tests on these samples to obtain the properties. Further improvement of these soils are learned to develop its properties to make it more stable and workable. Lastly foundations are designed using properties and knowledge of the foundation on these soils.
