 In India, air conditioners used in buildings already consume 40% of the total electricity produced. Our reliance on active cooling for comfort has grown significantly. We delved into both primary and secondary sources to grasp the various environmental challenges we face. We explored passive environmental techniques, learning how to design shading elements effectively. Additionally, we investigated terracotta as a material for evaporative cooling, considering its sustainability and effectiveness. Through this process, we sought to understand, innovate, and advocate for more sustainable solutions in the face of growing energy demands and environmental concerns. Click here for detailed report.
