HVAC and Controls Lab provides learning about the various types of HVAC systems that can be found. We also learnt all the principles like the fan laws and refrigeration cycles that are the basics of any system. We had site visits to learn more about the systems. Indoor air quality and the issues related to that were also covered. The course also covered the basic principles and designing of BMS (Building Management System). The simulation module covered the study of different HVAC systems and the parameters that affect the functioning and efficiency of the systems.
