In HVAC lab the in-depth knowledge about the HVAC systems was achieved through site visits, lectures, hands on experiments and by using different simulation software’s. The lab also covered other parameter’s like studying air quality of indoor and outdoor spaces, building management system and studying strategies for natural ventilation. Moreover, this was studied by doing calculations and physical measurement. Overall, the knowledge gained from this lab will help to select an appropriate HVAC system for a particular building type , which will further aid to achieve the goal of designing it as an energy efficient building.
