Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Lab explains the theoretical principles pertaining to Ventilation Standards and thermodynamics in the Refrigeration Cycle of an Air Conditioning System. Experiments and case studies are helpful in strengthening the correlation between theoretical concepts and practice. HVAC lab also helps in the understanding of various types of HVAC systems, their components, and their distribution, which assists in the designing and optimization of HVAC systems to minimise overall building energy consumption while maintaining thermal comfort for occupants.
