The Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Lab studio covers the basic concepts of the refrigeration cycle and provides a brief understanding about various air conditioning systems. The studio also focuses on ventilation standards and its relevance for the selection of HVAC system. The studio initates with the theoretical concepts of HVAC followed by various experiments to understand the systems and  applying this knowledge in the simulation module to design and optimisation the HVAC systems to reduce overall building energy consumption while maintaining thermal comfort for occupants.
