Through courses like ERV installations, gained useful insights into improving air quality and reducing energy consumption. Simulation modules deepened understanding of HVAC systems, including packaged DX, air and water-cooled chillers, chiller sizing, and sequencing, crucial for reducing the Energy Performance Index (EPI). This semester underscored the significance of well-designed and maintained air conditioning systems in curbing energy consumption, emphasizing the pivotal role of the HVAC lab in bridging theory and impactful practical applications.
