HVAC LAB I SPRING SEMESTER 2024

The HVAC system is a significant contributor to a building's energy consumption, and it presents a crucial opportunity for impactful energy reduction. To attain knowledge of successful optimization of HVAC Systems, the studio delves into theoretical principles concerning Ventilation Standards and the thermodynamics involved in the Refrigeration Cycle of Air Conditioning Systems along with incorporating experiments and case studies to reinforce the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application. The HVAC lab investigates the understanding of different HVAC system types, their components, and their distribution. This understanding aids in the design and optimization of HVAC systems, aimed at minimizing overall building energy usage.
