HVAC LAB PORTFOLIO

In the HVAC Lab course, I delved into the crucial role of HVAC systems in a building's energy consumption, with a focus on energy efficiency, performance optimization, and sustainability. I learned about engineering concepts like the vapor compression cycle, associated thermodynamics, and instrumentation. I explored different types of HVAC systems and their suitability for specific applications. I studied indoor air quality considerations, including contaminants, filtration theory, techniques, and filter types. I gained practical skills through activities such as ventilation and particulate matter measurements using specialized instruments, as well as assessing airflow, power, and balancing heat and energy recovery devices. I also covered advanced topics like fan curve analysis, fan selection criteria, energy consumption analytics, and simulation-based modeling for enhancing low or hybrid energy cooling systems.
