High-Rise Residential Project

The studio is committed to transforming traditional construction methods through the implementation of Integrated Construction Practices (ICP) and Lean tools. The primary goal is to boost efficiency by proactively analyzing potential risks and ensuring projects adhere to specified timelines and budgets. The focus of the case study is a Residential Building project in Ahmedabad, where I assumed the roles of Contractor and Mechanical Consultant. The emphasis is on showcasing the application of Lean and digital construction through a collaborative and integrated approach. Group members played diverse roles, fostering collaboration through tasks such as preparing BIM Execution Plans, conducting Revit Modeling, Clash Detection, Quality Checks, Quantity Take-Off, and engaging in 4D & 5D Simulation, LPS Tracking, and Common Data Environment utilization. Platforms like Plannerly, Visilean, Google Drive, Microsoft 365, among others, were employed to facilitate collaboration. The project serves as a testament to the advantages of adopting an integrated approach over traditional industry practices.
