LIGHTING AND INTEGRATED DESIGN LAB

The Lighting and Integrated Design Lab presented an extensive learning module that covered diverse aspects of sustainable design. It involved evaluating daylight utilization and refining facade designs to effectively distribute daylight throughout spaces. This  module had a clear focus on contextualizing energy consumption while proposing an extensive range of strategies to significantly reduce it. This encompassed climate assessments, precise adjustments to facade and envelope designs, optimization of daylight usage, enhancements in ventilation and HVAC systems, and the incorporation of renewable energy sources. Additionally, the course emphasized whole building performance and energy optimization, striving towards achieving net-zero energy consumption by integrating innovative design approaches and technologies.
