Plumbing Design Studio afforded an acumen into the technical and professional characters of one of the most significant fields of the construction sector. The learning started with the Plumbing Design of an Own House, where we learned to identify the water consumption, plumbing fixtures, flowrate, pipe diameter, and basic water-flow network. Then moving on to the second exercise, we did a case study on the different topics assigned to us where we can get an up-close, in-depth and detailed research of a subject of study and its related contextual position. In the third exercise, different sites had been given to design a plumbing system, so for that, we have prepared a 3-D model in Revit which included Architecture and plumbing Design. For the plumbing design in Revit, we had to prepare all the calculations and plumbing drawings. We also got a chance to go for a site visit where we learned how the plumbing network is designed. In a conclusion, we had prepared a working model where we can apply all the knowledge that we gained in all these exercises.
