Ranip-Motera section is the second project of north-south corridor of project phase-1 of Metro Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd, established by Government of Gujarat. It is completely 4.85 Km elevated viaduct that includes 5 elevated stations i.e. Ranip, Sabarmati Railways station, AEC, Sabarmati, Motera Stadium . The construction of elevated viaduct section is awarded to Ranjit Buildcon Ltd.
