Delhi being a global metropolis and having critical issues such as population growth, land, infrastructure, transport, housing, the ecology and environment, Master Plan 2021 is proposed to overcome such issues and engage people in productive work with decent standard of living.Delhi Development Authority and the Urban Arts Commission proposed for introducing a multi? modal transport system for Delhi in 1984.Phase 3 adds 2 “rings” around the core of current network. It will reduce travel time from Gurgaon to Noida by 30 mins.The main objective of the project is to improve Delhi’s urban environment by reducing traffic congestion and pollution.
