Ahmedabad being one of the thickly populated cities, the need of strengthening the transport infrastructure facilities have increased. Thus, the Metro-Link Express for Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) Company Ltd. has intended to implement the Phase 1 – Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project to provide safe, fast and eco-friendly rail based Mass Transit Services to the public. The proposed metro compliments the existing BRTS and AMTS services. The total length of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project – Phase 1 is 39.259km, including total 32 numbers of stations.
