MEGA has contracted Afcons Infrastructure Ltd. the UG1 package for Ahmedabad Metro (E-W Line). The project contract (EPC) consists of twin tunnels and two underground tunnels with cross passages. The first tunnel constructed was the first tunnel constructed in Gujarat by means of tunnel boring machine (TBM).
