Metro-Link Express For Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad (MEGA) proposed the metro project between the two cities for better connectivity. The entire project is divided into 2 phases. Phase- 1 :Ahmedabad metro and Phase - 2 :Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad. Phase -1 is divided into different packages. This following project is under Simplex Infrastructures Ltd. and it includes construction of elevated viaduct corridor from Shreyas to Ranip (8.94km) along with construction of 6 stations and an underpass at paldi station.
