Nagpur Metro is an under construction rapid transit system for the city of Nagpur, India. Nagpur Metro Rail Project is a joint venture of Government of India and Government of Maharashtra, with 50:50 equity. Mass Rapid Transit System which being constructed by MMRCL to serve the city with 41.2 km of metro rail connectivity along the four directions.

The project aims to create jobs. Apart from transit-oriented development, the project aims to reduce the number of vehicles that ply on roads and bring down air pollution in the city. It aims to reduce average travel time of commuters by around 50 per cent.
