QUANTITY SURVEYING AND SPECIFICATION :-This subject helped me gain practical knowledge by calculating quantities of activities such as excavation ,backfilling , masonry , concreting , flooring , plastering and flooring etc . This subject has also helped me gain knowledge regarding various activity costs due to rate analysis . I learnt the importance of cost estimations in the projects and the need to specify minor details in description aiding the quotation to be to the point and cost efficient . The project on quantity and rate analysis of various structural components has helped in expanding the knowledge even further .
