Comparation Of Reinforcements Of Non-Orthogonal Building

In this project we performed Comparative Study Of Forces & Reinforcements On a Non-Orthogonal Building . In Conclusion with it we found that Non-Orthoganal Building Earthquake Combination forces requires more % Pt then Orthogonal Building Earthquake Combination forces. These combinations were taken according to IS1893:2002 Clause 6.3.2.1 When the lateral load resisting elements are oriented along orthogonal horizontal direction, the structure shall be designed for the effects due to full design earthquake load in one horizontal direction plus 30 percent of the design earthquake load in the other direction.
