Deck of Seasons

The Discourse Centre is a spatial narrative grounded in the folk tales, legends, and life cycles of trees—treating them as cultural and spiritual beings. To minimize ground impact, most functions rise onto a floating deck that weaves through existing trees, hosting open and semi-open Galleries, a shaded Discourse zone, and adaptive circulation paths. Thick, fragmented walls mark entry thresholds and serve as backdrops for the Amphitheatre and Quiet zone. Enclosed spaces on the first floor feature sliding panels for seasonal adaptability and evolving exhibitions, creating an architecture that breathes, transforms, and grows in rhythm with nature's own cycles.
