Vaulted Canopy

Vaulted Canopy is a rest stop designed as an oasis of calm along the highway. Inspired by the ancient Hammam and the Sabbaths, the design reflects thermal transitions and moments of rest. Vaulted forms create generous, airy volumes that house dining areas, washrooms, cafés, work zones, and community spaces. These are connected by aromatic pathways that shift with the seasons, engaging the senses and marking movement. Blending architectural expression with functional comfort, the project invites travellers to slow down, breathe and experience comfort through spatial and sensory transitions.
