Steganovas Art Gallery

Steganovas Art Gallery is situated on the 10th floor of the Radical City Youth Center. The design process was driven by the principle of developing detailed parts and assembling them into an integrated architectural system.
The structural strategy uses a series of folded metal plates to create the spanning and bearing system of the gallery. This technique evolved from an earlier staircase study where welded joints were used. To refine the construction and reduce dependency on welding, the method was further developed into a fold-based system, allowing for cleaner assembly and a distinctive architectural expression.
