Urban non-places: Addressing visibility, accessibility, and socio-ecological activation of spaces harboring components of water infrastructure network in Ahmedabad
The direct aim of this DRP is to understand the potential of the infrastructural urban non-places and derive ways to activate them with socio-ecological approach. The perceived values are to be studied from the Ahmedabad's rich heritage of communal water systems (like stepwells and temple water tanks) to integrate traditional water management practices and advocate State-community partnerships to transform these spaces, creating frameworks for shared responsibility and cultural integration along with ecological sensitivity in infrastructure management
