This design is a home for a 60 year old lady, a retired wildlife researcher and now aspiring landscape artist. She also has an interest in astronomy. She lives here with a young intern, wildlife photographer, around 32 years of age. This home, placed in a remote area in Jawai, Rajasthan, amongst the many spanning Granite hills, attempts at enhancing the ordinary journeys they take through the house everyday, which contribute to the experience of the house. The house is placed facing inwards towards the lake, enveloped by rock on all three sides.
