ROOTED IN WELLNESS

This project envisions a health-oriented residential environment that promotes physical activity, natural thermal comfort, and ecological balance through passive design strategies. Key approaches include wind flow optimization, evaporative cooling, heat radiation mitigation, and walkable site loops. Existing ecological features are preserved and integrated to enhance thermal comfort, spatial quality, and air quality (AQI). Performance-based tools guide decisions across all scales—Autodesk CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) for wind analysis; Ladybug, Grasshopper for solar analysis; and Galapagos, Grasshopper to optimize walkable experiences. The design responds to sedentary lifestyles and energy overuse by creating homes rooted in well-being and ecological intelligence.
