A Roof And Eighty Columns: An Institute of Indology

Indology is the artful pursuit of India’s soul—a tapestry of tales, language, music, thought, and myth; a study of our civilization’s heartbeat. An institute for such a pursuit must be immersive, engaging, and boundless. Inspired by Ellora’s cave complex, the institute curates under an all-encompassing, undulating and faceted roof. The roof is to the institute, what the Sahyadri Hill is to Ellora, a monumental datum, under which space and activity unfolds and nurtures. With no boundaries, each space opens to the next—where inspiration, dialogue, discovery and knowledge flow seamlessly, always waiting beneath the next facet.
