ANARCHIC SYNTHESIS - An Institute of Indology at Ellora

The Institute of Indology embodies the very duality that forms the core of society - the dialogue between the Collective and the Individual. This is achieved through the medium of Collaboration and Introspection, with each part of the program split into this binary realization. Collaborative functions are held in a shared, central womb-like space, while introspective parts are fragmented into personal pod-like spaces, shaped to their unique programmatic needs. Light, form, and permeability are carefully considered, moulding spaces that resonate with both the shared and the solitary. Each derives its own geometry, forming a language where the ordered meets the chaotic, the regular meets the irregular. This Anarchic Synthesis becomes a vessel for understanding Indology, encouraging Inquiry and mediating Cultural Exchange.
