This incubation space in IIT Bombay reimagines the academic block, transforming it into a vibrant hub of innovation and activity beyond lecture hours. Each turn and transition within the space offers a fresh encounter, moving away from rigid, centralised planning toward a dynamic, multi-nodal approach. The design embraces controlled chaos and ambiguity, fostering interaction, exploration, and creative risk-taking. By challenging the campus’s mechanised order, it nurtures an entrepreneurial spirit and supports diverse functions within a responsive environment. The result is a living system that adapts to user needs, breathing new life into an otherwise static academic setting.
