TAILORED ATMOSPHERES

This project in NewYork by the highline emphasizes the growing demand for personalized and tailored experiences across all aspects of life. One key area is event decor and spatial transformation, where people invest significantly to create environments that reflect their emotions, identities, and aspirations. This hybrid profession—blending set designer, event planner and customer experience consultant—addresses that demand by offering clients an immersive, co-creative journey. Various programmatic zones are designed to support this—from fabrication workshops and collaborative studios to display areas and sample spaces—each contributing to a holistic experience that merges design with real-time experience.

The journey shows how the project which began as an exploration with discrete parts called the kit of parts which were aggregated to form a generative model matured into a building which now has a legible identity.
