LOOP | Matrix | Integr8

Integr8 is a pavilion that moves like a living tree — strong at its core and flexible at its edges. A central spine supports the structure, while its branches unfold and fold back, much like leaves reaching for the sun and returning to rest. Inspired by flasher origami and the soft motion of an octopus, it opens and closes through rotation. As one cable pulls and another releases, the pavilion expands and contracts, breathing with every movement. Each branch acts like a cantilever, stretching outward while staying connected to the center. Hinges at every joint allow the structure to move with ease, turning fixed parts into something fluid and alive. As it opens, light filters through, casting shifting patterns like sunlight through leaves. And when it closes, it folds neatly into itself, ready to bloom again. Integr8 doesn’t just stand — it performs, inviting people to see, feel, and experience space in motion.
