This library project conceived on the GUST campus was inspired by the conceptual image of a serpent encircling the existing structure. This initial vision evolved into the concept of a dynamic library, akin to a roadside café for books. The design seamlessly integrates with the existing building, aesthetically levitating into the sky before re-entering the new structure. The new facility features a robust metal frame construction, complemented by corrugated metal roofing. The exterior is adorned with a brick façade, while the interior showcases wooden cladding. To enhance energy efficiency and comfort, glass wool insulation is incorporated.
