Crossover is a retail store for skatewear and related gear; the name itself alludes to a mixture of different things, namely ice skates and roller skates. The design of the space is intended to be dynamic—with a materiality of primarily black and clear transparent surfaces—and to provide a personal, interactive experience to the customers. The space is divided between the retail area with displays that provide an idea of the types of products available, the trial area with seating elements and two small rinks where one can try out the ice and roller skates, the cash counter and the storage.
