Fictional Frames

This semester, I learned how to tell stories visually—how to let the camera, setting, and imagery speak just as loudly as words. Through working on both documentaries and short films, I began to understand that storytelling isn’t just about dialogue or narration, but about what the audience sees and feels through visual cues. I learned how framing, lighting, movement, and even silence can convey emotion, build suspense, or express a character’s inner world.
