Pleats in motion- a 3d printed garment

The project presents the journey from initial jute form explorations to a final couture piece that merges 'pleating techniques with 3D printing on fabric.' A key stage was the pattern-making process, where translating digital volumes into wearable patterns ensured the final garment retained both form and function. A garment influenced by the kinematics. Kinematics of fashion. Kinematics refers to the motion of points. Here I use the system of 3dprinitng to make use of these motion of points allowing the creation of geometrically complex structures that are not only elegant but fluid, translating into a naturally flowing fabric. The body movements act as the main of points here. The final piece integrates '3D printed patterns onto fabric', using pleating as both a visual and structural language.
