WBOT: Exploring a Lightweight Deployable System

This project explores a lightweight deployable system using 3D printing on tensile fabric as a fabrication technique. The experiments test different patterns to achieve a self-standing, stable structure that is collapsible and folds into a flat-pack system. Computational tools like Grasshopper and Rhino were used to generate quick pattern iterations. In the process, it also explores how origami-based folding patterns can be translated and achieved using 3D printing on tensile fabric.
