FoldWorks Studio is a design-driven exploration of how material behaviour informs space-making for a packaging and ad-shoot workspace. Centred around activities like prototyping, assembling, and product photography, the project takes inspiration from the processes of folding, creasing, and surface development, core to both packaging and spatial design. Using aluminium sheets for structure and furniture, and polycarbonate sheets for translucent, foldable partitions, the studio investigates the potential of sheet-based construction, origami logic, and flat-packed systems. These explorations shape not only function but also the spatial experience—playing with light, tactility, and enclosure to create a workspace that is both precise and adaptable.
