With recent advancements in robotic additive manufacturing, this project investigates the potential to print intricate patterns and jallis within a single print cycle. Using a women's mosque in Bangalore as the design brief, the study explores the integration of architectural patterning and spatial construction. A reciprocal process between manufacturing constraints and design opportunities was adopted throughout the exploration. The final prototype—an architectural element from the design—was fabricated in collaboration with experts at Tvasta Manufacturing Solutions, culminating in a full-scale sample that concludes the study.
