This project explores the integration of AI-assisted workflows and 3D printing within the realm of cinematic set design, using a near-future sci-fi script as its narrative foundation. It examines how AI-generated visual outputs can be translated into 3D-printable models, and vice versa, evaluating the potential of hybrid digital-physical workflows to enhance both creative exploration and production efficiency. While the broader objective is to assess these workflows across the entire design-to-fabrication pipeline, the current phase focuses specifically on utilizing AI tools to accelerate and enrich the generation of concept art: imagery, and video, thereby streamlining the early stages of set design and enabling faster, more iterative visualization processes.
